Job function

Reporting to the Country Manager, this exciting new role is responsible for the effective delivery of the asset recovery/logistics shipping and sales support administration within the group.

We want to be known for a world class operations function, and to do that we need to build and develop best in class processes, systems and reporting. You’ll have autonomy to bring amazing ideas to the table and enable our operations organisation to exceed their goals and significantly contribute to positive business and customer outcomes.

 

Specific responsibilities

The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility. Additional responsibilities or functions may be required as necessary to support the business.

  • Follow all companies Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security.
  • The role is also expected to perform any reasonable requests which are not defined but in the ability of the individual.
  • Creating sales orders and purchase orders and making sure all details are correct.
  • Purchasing product when requested by the sales account manager/s and with approval.
  • Managing data input and flow, such as goods-in, delivery and invoicing.
  • Liaising internally with sales team and updating customers directly when necessary.
  • Quality processes and including but not limited to logging of return merchandise authorization.
  • Arranging shipments outbound and inbound with all relevant shipping information.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and third parties regarding shipments and queries.
  • Analysis of shipping quotations.
  • Preparation of all shipping documents including but not limited to raising purchase orders and commercial invoices.
  • Working with the warehouse team regarding collection dates and ensuring correct documentation.
  • Timely filing of all shipping related documentation.
  • Liaise with the finance team for the preparation of invoices ensuring shipping costs are calculated accurately.
  • Responsibility to operate within the trade compliance procedures, including the presentation of sales opportunities respecting export control rules/legislation and for suitable due diligence to be undertaken accordingly.
