TXO is a dynamic and thriving international group. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our UK Sales Team. The role holder is responsible for generating repeat sales as well new business development within a defined segment (geographical territory and/or Key Accounts). They will generate opportunities and sell products and services to achieve revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets.

The Sales Account Manager’s aim is to build long term relationships and to ensure sustained repeat business and growth.

Specific responsibilities

    • Service and develop current accounts within a defined territory or portfolio. Maintain regular contact with existing accounts, both via written, verbal and face to face communication methods, ensuring that our knowledge of the accounts within the company (the needs, expectations and requirements) are up to date and well communicated.
    • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
    • Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity (new business).
    • Fully understand the business, buying and decision-making process of the customers as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts to ensure ongoing sales.
    • Maintain and develop a relationship with key individuals within our customer base with the aim to gain trust and transparency for ongoing and future opportunities.
    • Ensure a high level of Customer Service, resolving and where applicable escalating any issues/complaints to ensure a high level of service. This may include interface with other internal departments.
    • Provide a professional handover of accounts as necessary on a timely basis.
    • To achieve set monthly targets in line with company expectations as determined by the company.
    • Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity.
    • Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecast and ensure information on CRM system is kept up to date.
    • Operate within published commercial and contractual guidelines, making effective use of escalation route.
    • Understand and sell the whole product portfolio, including new customer solutions as appropriate to customer needs.
    • Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market, including industry, competitors and telecoms and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately.
    • Provide a professional handover of accounts as necessary on a timely basis.
    • Completing PQQs and other customer related documents when required.

Other

    • Interface with other internal departments as required ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and quality of process.
    • Utilisation and ongoing development of company CRM to assist company and customer information.
    • Responsible for personal Health and Safety and operating in a manner which is safe personally and for others.
    • Follow all companies Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Information Security.
    • The role is also expected to perform any reasonable requests which are not defined but in the ability of the individual.
    • Sales Target: £1million per year.
