TXO Systems today announced that it has been awarded the TL 9000 certification for quality management. The scope covers the brokering and distribution of telecommunications equipment including switches, transmission equipment, legacy and optical equipment.

TL 9000 certification denotes conformance to a telecommunications specific set of requirements based on the ISO 9000 Management System and was developed by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications Forum (QuEST Forum). Here you can check out all of our certifications.

The standard distinguishes ‘best in class’ suppliers and manufacturers and has increasingly become a contractual requirement in the telecommunications industry. TL 9000 raises the bar on ISO 9001:2008 with an increased emphasis on quality system requirements for the design, development, production, delivery, installation, and maintenance of telecommunication products and services.

TL 9000 is the only quality standard that requires metrics to be collected so that a company can benchmark its performance for improvement. Other benefits of implementing TL 9000 include:

  • Standardized quality system to protect the integrity of telecommunications products & services
  • Enhanced customer-supplier relationships
  • Standardized cost and performance-based metrics

“This latest achievement is testament to TXO’s commitment to providing the highest possible levels of quality and customer care,” commented Jeremy Pudge, Director of Recovery and Compliance.  “As a TL 9000 certified supplier and member of QuEST, we look forward to strengthening customer relationships across the supply chain and driving further service improvements.”

About QuEST/TL 9000

The Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum was founded to foster continuous improvements to the quality and reliability of telecommunications products and services. The QuEST Forum established and maintains a common set of quality management system requirements and measurements built on currently used industry standards, including ISO 9001:2000. The resulting TL 9000 Requirements and TL 9000 Metrics promote consistency and efficiency, reduce redundancy and improve customer satisfaction.
