We are pleased to announce that in a landmark deal agreed earlier this month, TXO Systems has been appointed as the exclusive partner for handling the asset recovery of a Tier 1 carrier network.

Among other tasks, the deal includes assessment of the revenue return potential, parts transportation, tracking and the initiation of discussions with prospective buyers to maximise the value of surplus and redundant assets using TXO’s global salesforce of over 50 expert multi-lingual sales people.

Simply put, if market value remains, the equipment will be sold to other end users. Equipment that cannot be reused or resold will be broken down into different WEEE and non-WEEE recycling streams, and any hazardous material removed in an environmentally sound and responsible manner.

Speaking about the deal, Kieran Crawford – TXO’s Telecom Services Director, said

“Retiring network assets can be a huge burden for organisations all over the world. Through this deal we’re delighted to be able to help simplify the process for the Tier 1 operator; our team are excited to fulfil the market demand for these essential parts, which would have otherwise gone to landfill.”

With more than 800K parts in stock, TXO is recognised globally as the leader in fixed line/wireline & mobile/wireless telecoms parts supply and actively remarkets and resells equipment through its extensive global relationships with purchasers from global OEMs, operators, enterprises and trade sales.
