Global Recycling Day is really special to us. Every March 18th marks the day to raise awareness of how important recycling is for preserving the earth’s resources to secure our planet’s future.
Each year, millions of tons of electronic waste (e-waste) is sent to landfill which has devastating effects on the environment. It’s important for our industry to always keep this in mind and do everything we can to ensure equipment stays in use for as long as possible. Here at TXO, this is what we’re all about.
The theme of this year’s Global Recycling Day is ‘Recycling Heroes’ – recognising the people, places and activities that showcases the important role recycling plays in contributing to an environmentally stable planet and a greener future for us all.
So we challenge you to ask yourself…’am I a recycling hero?’ and really question whether there’s anything big or small you can do to recycle and reuse more of your telecom networking equipment.
