TXO is the leading provider of end-to-end circular telecom network solutions and today we announce the agreed acquisition of Lynx UK Ltd, a specialist network decommissioning and engineering solutions provider. Lynx aligns with TXO’s global strategy of being a pioneer in the circular economy and supporting operators of all sizes as they expand and transform their networks in a sustainable way.
With the acquisition of Lynx, TXO will bolster its team with over 80 highly skilled specialists offering turnkey decommissioning, asset management, engineering and test and repair services. These new employees will complement TXO’s existing team of over 260 telecom specialists, delivering a full-service circular economy proposition for major global carriers across five continents, including Australia where the company launched a new hub earlier this year.
Darren Pearce, Group CEO of TXO, said:
“The acquisition of Lynx strengthens TXO’s position as a strategic partner for operators looking to transform their networks, reduce their carbon footprint, increase capital efficiency and sustainably retire legacy equipment. We are excited to welcome our new Lynx colleagues to TXO and believe their expertise will be crucial in bringing about our shared mission of delivering solutions that embed circular economy principles in the telecoms industry. Thanks to our private equity investor, we are constantly looking for opportunities to expand our footprint through strategic acquisitions and partnerships with like-minded, experienced teams. Expect to see more of this from TXO in the future.”
Lyn Pickering, CEO of Lynx, said:
“TXO shares our vision for how the telecoms market should function sustainably and the cultural mindset needed to ensure the growth of sustainable networks. I’m incredibly excited by the growth potential of the group and the new opportunities it will bring for our newly combined teams. By joining TXO, we will be able to extend our impact globally, driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in the ever-evolving landscape of the telecoms industry.”
As operators attempt to juggle continuous network technology innovation while improving their sustainability and environmental impact, the circular economy offers a resolution to this challenge.
TXO supports this journey with end-to-end solutions and services across the equipment lifecycle, from decommissioning and recovery, testing and repair, product supply, reselling, recycling, to other support services. TXO is helping telecoms achieve its circular economy vision by maximising the environmental and financial benefits and extending the lifecycle of telecom networks globally.
TXO’s vision is to be the world’s local partner for sustainable telecom networks, headquartered in the UK and with a physical presence in Continental Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. The acquisition of Lynx also expands TXO’s asset management and test & repair capabilities, as well as scaling TXO’s inventory for UK and European operators. The acquisition forms part of TXO’s global strategy to be the leading circular economy service partner for network operators and OEMs, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
