Here at TXO, we’re on a mission to be the world’s local partner for sustainable telecom network hardware and asset management services. As our exciting global expansion journey continues, we’re thrilled to share news of our new hub opening in Melbourne, Australia.

Why Melbourne?

As part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and meeting surging customer demand across the Asia Pacific region, it’s led us to set up a major hub in Melbourne to hold telecom network stock and process asset recovery projects. Home to major telecom operators and with such an eco-conscious community, Melbourne is a natural choice for our next strategic move as we cater to the needs of operators across the region who share our circular economy goals.

Speaking about the news, TXO’s Country Manager for APAC, Sam West, said:

“The private sector is facing growing pressure to optimise their telecommunications network investments while promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable results. Our mission is to assist companies on this path, and we are thrilled to establish a local presence to enhance our ability to provide the advantages of improved cost efficiencies and sustainable telecom network solutions for our clients.”

What this means for our customers across the APAC region

Our new operational facility brings a host of benefits to our customers, including:

  • Quicker turnarounds and lead times
  • Better customer service from a local team
  • Asset recovery services available to you on your home turf
  • A boost to the local economy with job opportunities in Melbourne
  • Support for local sustainability by preventing wasted assets
  • A reduction of emissions by avoiding the need to export equipment

Group Sales Director for TXO, Kieran Crawford, added:

“As a company, we’re focused on enabling the circular economy, by maximising environmental and financial benefits, to extend the lifecycle of telecom networks globally. Being in close proximity to our clients to minimise transportation-related carbon footprints is a huge advancement toward our commitment to sustainability and forging lasting relationships with leading telecommunications companies around the world.”
