The Ericsson formerly Marconi Multihaul (MHL) 3000 is an optical WDM system for Metro and Core applications. It can transport both Ethernet and SDH / SONET at STM-1, STM-4, STM-16, STM-64 and STM-256 rates. The transponder cards include 2.5Gbps, 10Gbps ( TDM Muxponder) and even 40Gbps Transponder.
The system was used for closed metro ring and can also function as a ROADM ( reconfigurable optical add-drop mux). Pluggable optics are used with this system including SFP and XFP transceivers and this includes tunable 10G XFP transceiver. These support grey interfaces and also CWDM and DWDM. This system is still widely used in Europe and in the Middle East.
Ericsson MHL 3000 Repair
The TXO reference system enables our team to diagnose faults with the customer’s card and to then test the card for functionality including passing traffic where appropriate following the repair. Custom test procedure to suit the needs of the customer are part of the service as well as return in ESD compliant packaging.
