The Coriant (formerly Siemens) hiT 7025 is a Multi-Service Provisioning Platform (MSPP) providing STM-1 to STM-16 optical. It is most commonly found being used as an ADM-4 or ADM-16 (Add – Drop Mux). It supports legacy interfaces such as SDH and even PDH as well as Ethernet for Layer 2. The hiT 7025 is also found in Metro Core and Metro Access networks as well as for CPE (customer premise equipment).
