ISO 45001:2018 certified
We are delighted to become one of the first telecommunications companies in our field to be awarded the ISO 45001:2018 certification. The new standard is the first international standard for Occupational Health and Safety and has been developed in order to consider the business requirements of today.
The certification has replaced OHSAS 18001, which TXO has maintained for a number of years, alongside its other ISO certifications in respect of Quality (ISO 9001/TL9000), Environmental Management (ISO 14001) and Information Security (ISO 27001). Some of the main changes in comparison to its predecessor include strong emphasis on leadership, risk-based thinking as well as participation and consultation of decision-makers and workers.
Dedicated to quality
TXO has achieved a key business objective in transitioning to this new ISO standard, and is proud to be one of the first in our field to obtain it, showing our dedication to quality. ISO45001:2018 demonstrates that our management system covers what is needed in today’s workplace. It also shows TXO’s commitment to maintain the health and wellbeing of everybody on or visiting its site along with effective communication with all involved.
Group CEO Darren Pearce said,
“Becoming one of the first companies in our industry to achieve this certification demonstrates TXO’s commitment to excelling in our approach to Occupational Health and Safety.”
