Virgin Media have been a TXO client since 2011. Over the years we have benefited from a first class service from all members of TXO’s staff and have always been impressed with the results of their work, whether that be from a product sales or reverse logistics and asset recovery perspective.
TXO has a remarkable track record of supplying hard-to-find telecom network parts to our engineering teams. Time and time again they have proven their ability to save us costs and management time in the process.
From a reverse logistics standpoint, one of the major projects that we worked with TXO on was delivering detailed clarity of Virgin Media’s spare telecoms network equipment to the wider Liberty Global Group. The i-TRAC system has given us real time and historical data on our inventory as well as advanced reporting capability across all Liberty Global companies that are on-board.
Besides generating impressive returns from the resale of our excess parts TXO also generate revenue through the recycling of unsellable hardware all of which is disposed of in the correct ethical manner we would expect. Central to the success of the project has been the ability to set permissions-based access within i-TRAC that allows relevant parties to call-back parts for reuse and redeployment, wherever and whenever they are needed.
The support we have received from TXO has been outstanding. We plan on using their services for many years to come and have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending TXO to others.”

Tata Communications recently decided to consolidate one of our data centers and sell off excess assets for our New Jersey location. We connected with several vendors to understand our options and awarded the contract to TXO.

Alcatel-Lucent Telecoms Limited, now an affiliate company of Nokia, have engaged with TXO for a number of years utilising their asset recovery services, end of life hardware inventory management services & recycling services. Recently, as a result of ALU consolidating various buildings and locations, TXO was challenged by ALU to ensure that all the recovery and decommissioning works would be at minimum cost neutral, and were subsequently engaged to survey and evaluate the costs and opportunities related to moving from 4 sites to 1 central location in Bristol.
TXO made everything simple. They surveyed and provided a valuation of our equipment from all four sites in the project, and provided a second-to-none recovery and resale solution offsetting the costs of each recovery against the equipment resale value.
The whole process couldn’t have been easier – they surveyed each site, provided us with method statements, risk assessments and project management plans to meet our bespoke requirements. All agreed equipment was recovered professionally, on-time and loaded onto TXOs web-portal i-TRAC, which has been a real lifesaver in terms of providing real-time visibility and reporting of our sales and inventory, making a usually complicated process easy, as well as providing additional market opportunities for ongoing asset sales.
As a result of their commitment and professionalism, they have succeeded in realising additional value from recovered assets, such that ALU are currently cash positive with TXO for this significant programme.
