At TXO, we love finding opportunities to highlight all the wonderful people behind our brand. And today we’re delighted to introduce you to Mahdi, our Accounts Director for France & Africa.

Let’s get going with the all-important #LifeAtTXO quick-fire questions!🔥

Mahdi, when did you join TXO and can you describe your typical week?

I joined the TXO SAS team in France on June 15th, 2020. I love spending time face-to-face with customers across my region. I also really enjoy reacting fast to requests for quotations (RFQs) and ensuring that all my customers’ deliveries go smoothly. I try to set aside 2 full days per month for reaching out to new customers so I can make a positive impact on even more telecom networks throughout France and Africa.

How has your career progressed since working at TXO?

Since I joined TXO, I’ve learned a lot about the telecom industry and how operators work. I have met different people with a variety of backgrounds and enjoyed discovering new company cultures. I’m really confident sourcing telecom network products and sharing the benefits of the service offering we provide.

What do you like about working at TXO?

  • I love being able to work autonomously
  • We serve a niche market
  • I’m able to travel internationally for my work

What is it that you love about what we do?

I love helping new companies to extend the life cycle of their telecoms equipment while making cost savings at the same time.

If you were our CEO for the day, what one change would you bring about?

I’d introduce more team-building opportunities.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

I’m sensitive.

What are your favourite flavour crisps?

Harissa is the best flavour.

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

I love spending time with my family and going to Brazilian Jui Jitsu and taking part in grappling sessions. Plus I’m a bbq fan when the weather allows.

Which of our brand values resonates with you the most? And why?

Trust means the most to me. My customers trust me to be highly reactive, giving them cost savings and amazing accuracy (so there are fewer returns).😊

What’s your funniest TXO memory?

Once I was invited to a customer lunch in Djibouti. As I’ve got Tunisian origins, I was challenged with eating hot chilis! Big mistake as it was a super strong one and I had a hard time recovering…with my red face and lots of coughing!
